Living in a secluded rural town with his widowed mother, Daisuke Suwa is a reserved high school student. Despite his quiet demeanor, he behaves like a womanizer at school, except around the shy Hinako Aikawa. Daisuke believes Hinako is pretending to be a "sweet virgin." One day, while caught up in an argument between two admirers, Daisuke seeks refuge in a church. Concealing himself inside a confessional, Hinako enters the church and mistakes his voice for that of a priest. She requests for him to hear her confession, to which he is left with no choice but to comply.
During her confession, Hinako reveals that she was a victim of sexual abuse by her step-father during her junior high school years. Ultimately, this led her to give up her baby boy for adoption. With this newfound knowledge, Daisuke develops a deep sense of compassion for Hinako. As the two grow closer, will his empathy turn into something more?
