Denji had hopes of a peaceful life with his girlfriend, free from stress and full of joy. However, those dreams were shattered by a harsh reality that buried him in debt and at the mercy of the yakuza. In order to survive, he and his loyal companion Pochita were forced to hunt demons for meager wages.
Sadly, the yakuza ultimately betrayed and killed Denji, but Pochita intervened unexpectedly by merging with his dead body, granting him incredible powers as the chainsaw devil. With the ability to transform any limb into a deadly weapon, Denji was resurrected and set out for ruthless vengeance against his enemies.
