A fatal car crash claims the life of Kazusa, an adolescent in high school. She becomes a spirit, observing how her demise impacts her friends. Her focus is on Miharu, the boy she loved while alive. While in spirit form, she finds out Miharu's heart belonged to Okabe Ranko. Kazusa wonders if Okabe can perceive her apparition when no one else can.
