Shoutarou Ninomiya has abstained from taking a single paid vacation in the past 15 years due to his workaholic tendencies. The father of two boys, he has paid a high price for his behavior, neglecting his family and prompting his wife to seek a divorce. Similarly, Natsumi Okajima, a mother of two daughters, has grown tired of her spouse's extramarital affairs and chooses to end the relationship.
Both Shoutarou and Natsumi decide to purchase new homes for themselves and their children, hoping for a fresh start. However, they unknowingly fall prey to a complicated real estate scam and acquire the same property. With few alternatives available to them, both households are forced to coexist under one roof.
Natsumi is cautious of men and maintains strict boundaries within her home. Yet, as their children grow closer, their lives intertwine, and a charming romance blossoms between the two adults.
