Many years later in Greece, the Pope attempted to kill the newborn Athena with a golden dagger, but Gold Saint Saggitarius Aiolos intervened and unmasked the Pope. The horrified Aiolos fled, but the Pope branded him a traitor to the Sanctuary and ordered Capricorn Shura to execute him. Aiolos' younger brother Leo Aiolia suffered from abuse and scorn as a result, with a grudge against the Gold Saints and Sanctuary. To compound matters, the Titans, enemies of Zeus, returned to seek vengeance against him and the Sanctuary, prompting a clash between the Gold Saints and Titans and beginning the story of Aiolia.
