Sophomore Akira Kouno has made a decision to only seek romance in video games. However, on her way to school, she encounters a tall and glamorous girl named Pure Sakurasaka - her new classmate and self-declared future lover.
Although Pure is immediately popular in the class, she only has eyes for unpopular and unsociable Akira. She even claims to have traveled from seven years in the future when the two were about to be married. Akira finds it hard to imagine herself with someone as different as Pure. Despite this, the pair discovers that the future holds many surprises scattered throughout time.
