Six years ago, Kamui Shirou and his childhood friends Fuuma and Kotori Monou were inseparable. However, after the tragic and violent death of the Monou siblings' mother, Kamui had to leave Tokyo with his own mother. During his absence, Kamui developed his telekinetic abilities while the Monou siblings enjoyed a peaceful life. In 1999, Kamui's mother passed away, and her last wish was for Kamui to return to Tokyo and confront his "destiny."
Upon his return, Kamui's demeanor underwent a radical change, and he displayed his powers through violent confrontations on the street. Those who call themselves "Kamui" are seeking more than just a name. These challengers belong to two separate factions, the Dragons of Heaven and the Dragons of Earth, who are competing to recruit Kamui to their side. By piecing together bits of knowledge about the upcoming "promised day," Kamui realizes that he has the fate of the world in his hands. Depending on which faction he chooses to join, he will have to make a fateful decision - to save or end the world.
